"Our Gods are Angry"
"Our Gods Are Angry" is a short documentary about how the melting glaciers of the Himalayas are impacting the lives of people living in these high-altitude regions. But it’s also about more than just climate—it's about a way of life, about beliefs, rituals, and resilience in the face of change.
Surrounded by glacier mountains, the communities here see the environmental shifts not just through a scientific lens, but a spiritual one. Their gods are angry—and they’re trying to listen.
This isn’t just their story—it’s ours too.
It was exhibited at the BBC Television Centre and Outernet, London.
